I have to say that this final project has motivated me to try something new with my selfies. I was glad to pick the reflected selfie because of the services, whether curved, vibrant, or multiple reflections of me in one picture. I used my mother's vehicle as a reflection, and I loved how the red tone reflected on the selfie, including the trees in the background. My favorite portrait would have to be me holding the crystal ball and catching my reflection upside down. The multiple reflections were a unique idea because they made me think of the hall of mirrors at the Carnival. I took the other photo at the bookstore, and they have Plexiglas, where you can see my reflection. I used a pizza cutter as a reflection, and I liked how the selfie turned out with the shape of the pizza cutter. Overall this was a fun and unique selfie experience. There are many ways to make a great selfie.
You took some great photos, and I love the location you are at. I love how the earthy tones and colors are consistent throughout each of the pictures. My favorite of your photos are curve 3, horizontal 1, and vertical 3. I think these are your strongest pictures and represent each category perfectly. I have some issues with your other photos, though, and mainly because of the category you put them under. I do like your vertical 1 photo, however I don't see any vertical lines- if anything, there are more horizontal lines present. Your leading 2 photo also strongly falls under the horizontal line category, as I can see some faint leading lines, but the stronger line here is horizontal. Also, for your diagonal 1 photo, I struggle to see how there are any diagonal lines. I feel this is more of a leading lines photo as the trail gets smaller as it goes off on to the horizon. My last bit of criticism is your horizontal 2 picture. While I can definitely see the horizon in the back, the main focus are the dark trees, which go upwards, emphasizing more of the vertical lines in the photo rather than the horizontal line. Great job!
